Khaled Ramzi Adnan Saleh is a 13-year-old Palestinian student at the preparatory level residing in Gaza.
At approximately 9:00 a.m. on July 15, 2025, Khaled and his older brother went to the Zikim area in northwestern Gaza where humanitarian aid trucks enter the northern region to collect firewood for cooking. Normally, they would return by midday carrying small bundles of wood and paper, but on that day, they never came back.
After they disappeared, their family searched the area, as well as in hospitals, yet neither the brothers nor their bodies were found.
On September 6, 2025, an official inquiry was submitted via email to the Israeli army requesting information about Khaled Saleh’s whereabouts. In its response dated September 9, 2025, the Israeli army stated that it had no information regarding his case.
On September 30, 2025, MRG submitted an urgent appeal to the United Nations Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances (UN WGEID), urging them to intervene with the Israeli authorities to clarify Saleh’s fate and whereabouts.
