On September 20, 2021, Right Livelihood, ALQST, International Service for Human Rights and MENA Rights Group delivered a joint oral statement before the Human Rights Council (HRC) during the interactive dialogue with the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention, denouncing the systematic imprisonment of human rights defenders and peaceful dissidents in Saudi Arabia.

In a joint statement with nine other organisations, MENA Rights Group condemns the inclusion of four Emirati activists and members of the UAE 94 on the UAE terrorism list. In their statement, the undersigned organisations call on the UAE to immediately and unconditionally remove the activists' names from the terrorism list and to immediately and unconditionally release all of those who have been unjustly and arbitrarily detained as part of the UAE 94 trial.

In a joint letter, MENA Rights and 38 human rights groups, survivors of the Beirut Blast, families of victims and individuals sent an urgent appeal to the UN Human Rights Council urging the council to establish an investigative body into the explosion, as Lebanon leaders continue to obstruct domestic inquiry.
