MENA Rights Group, the Committee for Justice and the Egyptian Front for Human Rights welcome the recommendation by the Sub-Committee on Accreditation (SCA) of the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI) to downgrade Egypt’s National Council for Human Rights (NCHR), to grade B. The organisations had previously submitted a joint report to the SCA outlining the NCHR's lack of compliance with the Paris Principles.
